From LA DJS to performing in BALENCIAGA’S NYSE presentation, we had the pleasure to dress and speak with Sextile, TERMINAL’s favorite Acid-Punk band, for their recent album release.

We meet Jimmy Ayeni and Ola Tokunboh Badiru at their east London apartment, which not only serves as a resting ground, but also as a closed-door exhibition. Whilst Jimmy sits by his desktop, mixing sounds and perfecting instrumentals, Ola begins a new painting. It’s almost like a nursery; an incubator for all things creative, true to their brand ‘Vivendii’, which derives from ‘Modus Vivendi’, Latin for ‘our way of living’.

Vitesse X, the enigmatic producer and DJ from New York, captivates with ethereal sounds and enchanting vocal melodies. Drawing inspiration from the pulsating rhythms of modern rave culture and the nostalgic aura of the '90s, Vitesse X occupies a sonic frontier that is both exhilarating and alluring. Listen to her T27 exclusive mix to set the tone for spring.

The man behind one-thousand tracks, creating art on his own terms. For SS22 Barrett Avner investigates RXK Nephew’s place within our current moment.

September mix prepared by our very own Darcy Haylor (DJ SHEATH). Known for curating several of our monthly playlists, the approach for this mix came from a different direction. It’s an assortment of sounds reflective of T27's physical space and textures, evocative of a space age aura landing into a zen garden. Opening with a tranquil lull by friend and collaborator Alex Beauregard, it ends with an unforgiving collision of Slovenian techno with early 2010s NYC hip-hop.

CFCF (aka Mike Silver) is a Grammy-nominated electronic musician, producer and DJ from Montreal, Canada. His most recent album 'Memoryland', released in 2021, explored the restlessness of the Y2K generation, fusing disparate genres from jungle, grunge, UK garage and french house to form a hyperkinetic period piece of turn-of-the-millennium youth in an identity crisis, and earning him a spot on the 2021 Polaris Prize shortlist.

Kicking off 2023 with a Vivendii Sound mix, composed by Jimmy Ayeni. Recorded in London and dedicated to Pa Salieu.

In this exclusive interview, we join the designers for a conversation on design philosophy, origins, and the overall cultural arena in none other, but Seoul.

Wladimir Schall is a conductor, orchestrator, and Musique Concretist from Paris who is obsessed with loud silences, digital despair and Erik Satie. His research is at the intersection of conceptual art, intangible sculptures and the refining of acoustic non/senses. Touching both the fields of digital immediacy and analog evanescence, Mister Schall spreads Schall like Spores. Here he sets the mood for MM6 Maison Margiela with an exclusive mix.

King Woman, Miserable, NGHTCRWLR, Dalmatian, the list of projects goes on. Our first collaboration features NYC-based multi-genre musician/producer Kris Esfandiari. This mix speaks to her broad spectrum of musical taste and influence, extending far beyond the territory of unearthly drone metal and experimental noise. Known for her captivating voice of elastic range, it is no surprise that Kris manages to dominate every genre imaginable.
